Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Russell moved to Whistler, BC in 1977 to satisfy his love for skiing. He lived in Whistler for 11 years where he worked for both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains as a Ski Shop Manager during the winter months and worked on "special" projects in the summers, including the construction of The Horstman Hut at the top of the 7th Heaven.
He moved to Squamish, BC with his wife and only child in the late 80's where he changed career paths to become a full-time member of the Squamish Fire Department. During his 25 year career with Squamish Fire Rescue, Russell worked as a Firefighter, Training Officer, Fire Suppression Captain, retiring as the Fire Chief.
In 2016 Russell and his wife moved to Kamloops, BC where he was persuaded into coming out of retirement to spearhead the start up of a satellite office for Vistashades, an Interior/Exterior Window Covering business with continues to thrive today.
Russell has called Christina Lake home since 2020, where the climate, friendly people and relaxing lifestyle checks all the boxes for comfortable living. Russell looks to combine his keen interest in Real Estate and his penchant for helping people into a new career.
"I genuinely want to guide both buyers and sellers through the buying and selling process and realize their Real Estate dreams."
